Some Tiki Block Inspiration!
Here are my tiki blocks in a different quilt setting--sorry, I can't give you the pattern because I based the block layout upon someone else's design.
I found pictures of tiki lamps and oars on the web and traced them, then machine appliqued them onto the quilt. I think the funnest part of this little quilt are the tongues sticking out of the tiki mouths! I made tiny tongue patterns (just two tiny U-shaped fabric pieces sewn right sides together along the curve, turn, then stuck into the paper piecing of the mouth). Tiki raspberries!!
