Space Time Continuum Kinetic Sculpture
This is a wonderfully soothing and very Zen sculpture. It turns slowly first one way and then the other and is impulsed about every 11 seconds. This sculpture will run for many hours on a single wind, and although all of the sculptures shown on this page are about 20" in diameter, each has its own personality and their run times vary. This is a very simple kinetic sculpture to build, and it has a conveniently long run time. You can see "Space Time Continuum" in action on the video player below, or click here: Space Time Continuum on YouTube |
This is another variation in form. This double pick axe form cycles about every 15 or 16 seconds. Plans for the double pick axe form shown here, and Forrest's circle shown below, are not part of the Space Time Continuum package, however, you can request the additional variations in dxf format (and in dxf format only!) after you purchase the plans--just email me. |

This is Forrest's artistic variation of the Space Time Continuum. It has more of a traditional balance wheel apprearance. This large circle is very slow moving and is impulsed only about every 22 to 26 seconds, allowing this beautiful circular form to run for about nine hours on a wind. |
