Homespun Hawaiian Christmas Angel Ornament

Christmas in July? It's never to early to get started on Christmas gifts! Faye and Ellen of Quilt Hawaii requested a no-sew class that we could hold out on a lanai, so I thought this would be fun to offer. We'll make a Christmas version of this sweet little angel, who measures approximately 6" tall from her dress hem to her curls. Sorry I can't show you the exact dress we're going to make yet--I'm waiting until the Christmas fabrics appear at Kapaia Stitchery. But whatever the dress, you'll customize your own little angel with hair color, hair style, and various trims and embellishments. There will be a little little bit of handsewing, but we'll mostly be gluing with fabric glue (not hot glue guns--I always burn myself....).
There will be a kit fee of $10 for this class. Kit will include the basic angel pattern, fabrics, and all sorts of trims and embellishments. Bring your favorite small fabric scissors to class.
